Macaroon, you were right about the marthas -- v. v. good. But only available in v. limited colours in teh Tall range.

Currently seem to have been replaced by Ellas which at least come in black. Am v. tempted, and they take paypal too, so can spend my ebay earnings.

MacaroonIncident · 22/10/2009 18:37

ooh how do you think replaced? they are diffo surely?

overmydeadbody · 22/10/2009 18:39

well it's alright for people with money.

Beggars can't be choosers

frogs · 22/10/2009 18:40

yy, but there are no Marthas in the Tall range atm. Maybe there are in the normal range? I didn't venture in there cos I is a fraek wot needs 36" leg length.

MacaroonIncident · 22/10/2009 18:42

ooh OMdB are you a 12?

frogs · 22/10/2009 18:42

Ah, I see you normal people can still buy marthas, and wot is more you can buy black ones.

Hmf.

MacaroonIncident · 22/10/2009 19:24

OP posts:
overmydeadbody · 22/10/2009 19:25

What are marthas?

overmydeadbody · 22/10/2009 19:30

Either that or I eat more pies and become a size 12

OrmIrian · 22/10/2009 19:35

odmb - are you skinny?

PlasticQueen · 22/10/2009 19:37

Because they shrink a tiny bit each time I wash them, and three months after buying perfectly fitting jeans I catch a glimpse of myself in a shop window with ankle flappers and massive muffin top.

overmydeadbody · 22/10/2009 19:38

um, maybe?

But if it's any concollation I have no chest

frogs · 22/10/2009 19:39

Martha jeans from Top Shop.

Straight rather than skinny, so not too tight around the calves. V. flattering and comfy.

Ronaldinhio · 22/10/2009 19:41

I dunno about this I think people are the same over all trousers
lack of long mirrors?
not to do with being too long in the leg as I'ma 34 and can happily get jeans long enough for boots although I don't really wear la beckham 6 in heels

OrmIrian · 22/10/2009 19:41

That's OK then. I have a chest! I'd rather not as it gets in the way when I'm running. I have to wear a contraption

GooberIsLockedInTheBootOfMyCar · 22/10/2009 19:41

They shrink so become "work jeans". Therefor the long jeans are for "best".
