What's the best post-natal instant tummy flattener?

Does it have to be Spanx? Belly Bandit? Anything else? Am willing to spend up to £100 if I know it will work and be comfortable.

I think you have to see the baby tum as a badge of honour. I don't think it ever goes completely. All those internal organs stretched and moved as well as muscles, tendons and skin. You can't expect to get back a super flat tum. Does it matter? It's part of being a mother.

I don't want super-flat, Christie, I just don't want to look pregnant for 18 months like I did with DS1. Been there done that. Now I want something different.

I never was flat anyhow but I don't like still looking pregnant!

Has anyone tried the yummie tummie tops?
here
Are they any good?

McDie79 · 15/10/2009 23:09

Have you had your baby or are you still pregnant?
If you are still pregnant google 'post pregnancy recovery shorts' they are pricey and ugly but they work, can't rate them highly enough!

Know you said short term but long term you can't beat pilates! Not only does it suck your tummy in it gives you an iron pelvic floor!

MonstrousMerryHenry · 18/10/2009 19:23

Thanks McDie - I am preg, so will check those out.

Mimi - Pilates is excellent, though I was crap at it 1st time round (perhaps also because I was recovering from 3rd deg tear? who knows). I will def be doing it again, but also want to look better immediately, until the Pilates does its powerful stuff.
