Please help me find a pair of boots to go with trousers and skirts....oh and don't cost more than £100!

OK my shopping list.

A medium sized elegant heel - no more than 2". Not a clumpy heel IYSWIM
Suitable for wearing with boot cut trews or a knee length skirt.
Leather but not suede (want them to be waterproof)
NOT ankle boots as I am short and a bit dumpy so they would look ridiculous.
Not too expensive.

Any ideas?

Have you looked in Next? They have great shoes at the moment - new catwalk range is fab - and reasonably priced too.

To be honest, I haven't looked anywhere. I was hoping someone might come along and be able to point me in the right direction as to styles etc as I don't know what to look for. I find it all rather overwhelming not having bought anything like this before. The last pair of boots I bought were from Clarks and were flat. This was about 5 years ago! I'll check out the Next site though.

How about these (cute bag too)? Would look for some more for you but site keeps crashing. Lots and lots of choice though.

I like the look of those Sunshinemummified but I fear they may be too long for my short legs.
