I spent a bloody fortune on lots of things, most arrived, all divine and so well made.
Good man Johnny!

Your new stuff is gorgeous. I too am steadily buying my way through the whole autumn/winter collection. It is all beautifully made, comfortable and guarentees compliments wherever i go . In particular, my cloudspotter mac has proved a fab buy. Am using it as my winter coat as it is warm enough given that i can usually be found pushing a double buggy up a hill. I reckon you should stock up on some more boden stuff whilst the going is good.

Am not with you re the david cameron thing though. I prefer Gordon's lot

MaggieBehave · 09/10/2009 12:03

I like the velvet skirt with the big circles.

If you bought all that stuff moondog, johnnie will be inviting you round to his house, on christmas day!

boodeniites · 09/10/2009 12:10

i just wish they would add more stock i know it all off by heart if i went on Mastermind my specialised subject would be Boden catalogues

CristinaTheAstonishing · 09/10/2009 15:48

Not in a lab, Moondog, I work with people rather than petri dishes. And the curtains around the patients' beds would be described as zany and kooky, were they to be in a Boden catalogue. They'll give me a run for my money.

prettybird · 09/10/2009 16:08

I really like the look of this dress

pofacedandproud · 09/10/2009 16:18

Ds is dressed head to foot in Boden this Autumn. Never done it before but it is so well made and he loves it. I have one thing, the Biker Jacket. Love it and wear it all the time. Love some of the other stuff but can't afford the stuff for me, too expensive. And some of the stuff is just too SamCam for words.

prettybird · 09/10/2009 16:21

But I see that the purple one is out of stock I have some gorgeous purple shoes it would have looked brilliant with

pofacedandproud · 09/10/2009 16:22

Are you all really thin? Those dresses are all skin tight. I used to be thin. I still am but my tummy has never recovered from children.

lucykate · 09/10/2009 16:25

the mens stuff is still well and truly off the boil...

traceybath · 09/10/2009 17:33

I have this cardigan in black and its fab.

Looked very nice with my skinny jeans.

Like the jacket a lot moondog.

prettybird · 09/10/2009 17:41

Well, the purple dress suddenly showed available (well, in a week) in a 14R, so I have ordered it I am usually a 12, but since being made redundnat have piled on the weight a bit, so it is probably just as well the 12 wasn't in stock

LetThemEatCake · 09/10/2009 19:44

Have never looked at nor bought Boden before this winter but am a bit sceptical about the Henley dress I bought. Think it looked better when I was pregnant; it's just a bit shapeless really

Well done moondog! (on your MSC as well as your shopping efforts... Although you prob know that I hold shopping in higher esteem LOL)

moondog · 09/10/2009 19:55

Clary, the skirt has a 9 week wait (but lining is an issue-I am getting very particualr in old age).
Angelina, you know what, on someone's recommendation on MN i went for Boden ones which arrived today and they are lovely, not too long and also nicely fitted about the body.
Here

Crista, what an intriguing establishment that sounds, with flippy skirt and sassy top type curtains!

Also got some of these shirts

Everything amazing. Really, i have never known their stuff to be so carefully made or nicely fitting.

Thank you Let, After being cerebral for months (no, years!!!), I am now turning into shallow shopper. My Isabelle Oliver cable cosy arrived today. Delightful! I lvoe it.

I'll tell you what other website is bloody great.John Lewis. Some cracking stuff.

I bought this bright pink peacoat last week, I thought £89 for a very nicely made lined cashmere blend jacket was very good value.

they've got some lovely children's pyjamas (the john lewis range) at the moment. Have started buying their underwear there now too especially after M&S children's knickers look so tarty for 9 year olds!

moondog · 09/10/2009 20:03

Foxy, they take the piss tohugh with the prices for knickers and socks eh, nice as they are?

(I loathe that sort of underwear for kids as you say.)

moondog · 09/10/2009 20:04

Sorry, you talking JL now, not Boden. Will ch-ch-check it out.

foxinsocks · 09/10/2009 20:05

yes agree with you re boden prices for underwear. Annoying, because I bet they are good.

Zembo · 09/10/2009 21:09

Boden kids underwear is amazing! John Lewis doesn't compare - I had to take some knickers back cos the elastic was coming away after just a few washes!
