Don't know about Rascals, but Childsplay in London are reputable and have been around for donkey's years. Congrats!

Scallywags agency is also good.

My dd doesn't do modelling but acting/singing and so sometimes gets sent up for commercials - the lines are a bit blurred there because really a TV commercial is really more of a modelling job than acting! Be really careful of agencies asking for up front money, find out exactly what it is for before handing over anything.

If the agency appear to be signing up anyone who will hand over a cheque then give them a wide berth. A decent agency will only take on those who they think will actually work. They get their money as a % of what you earn and that should be where they are earning - not by taking huge fees when people apply.

Do remember that most people make very little money from doing this and you and your child must really enjoy it. For most work you get very little notice of castings and have to drop everything to go sit around in a hot room with lots of other mums and children. I've seen plenty of children literally shoved into castings by parents, and it's horrible. There is a certain type of child who really does love it - and in that case modelling and acting etc. can be great fun, but it's definitely hard work for the parents!
