Where can I find knee length cashmere socks?

DH was given a pair - really thick and toasty - as a present for Christmas a couple of years ago and I've just worn them out (I have horribly cold feet) He works outdoors and I want to buy him a new pair to replace those I have destroyed as I want him to be warm this winter (and I might be a pair for me too!)

The ones he had came from France but that is all I know.

They MUST be knee length (he won't wear anything shorter as he detests that English thing of men showing off their legs when they sit down).

TIA for a strange, rather particular request!

Ooh - Thank you! I had looked ages ago there, but not found any. Must have been mid-summer or end of last winter!

Have you tried Toast or....... Joules. But don't get started on what the models look like.

boodeniites · 07/10/2009 12:38

got Brora catalocur in yesterday lots of lovely things but the prices??///

Perhaps White Company? I know they do cashmere bed socks. Plumo have gorgeous lacy knitted over-knee socks, but they're more for beauty than practicality.

must read the OP properly - although your DH might enjoy the lacy mohair socks, what do I know?

Sazisi · 07/10/2009 13:34
