French Connection stuff absolutely beautiful and (bonus this) sizes come up big so am a small in there (yay).

Plus they are brilliant in a sale. Have a much loved black silk jumpsuit which was reduced from £150 to £25. I saw it and picked it up and clutched it to myself in glee.

It is def the best high street shop for fit and style over all esp at the moment.

It's also great if you're pregnant as the way they cut a lot of their clothes flatter the pregnant shape. I have a fab summer dress that I can wear pregnant or not.

All the christopher kane stuff is for the seriously young and slim.There is a navy studded dress which is quite nice but apart from it NO!!!!!!!

Tried a bright pink bodycon River Island dress on this summer. Still haven't recovered from the sight of that in the mirror.

The Christopher Kane stuff looks good on Rhianna although am getting a bit bored of her fashion forward straight off the catwalk to her stylist style though.

GetorfMoiland - is your French Connection dress the navy one with the gold sequin stripes? ( - think it was called The Serpent Dress - I believe it was a copy of a Max Mara dress) I bought that one 2 or 3 years ago now and have worn it loads (looks great worn as a tunic over skinny jeans and heels too). There always seems be millions of the sequins everywhere after wearing it but it still looks new

I have seen you mention that sequin skirt on other threads and thought ughhh and it's something I wouldn't wear if you paid me BUT having now seen (notwithstanding the model need to pee) I think it would look better on someone a little more mature looking than an 18 yr old who would just look slaggish as they would team it with tight top and bare legs and it sounds like you are going for the more subtle look.

I always think Rhianna looks like a fashion car crash, I thought you were suppose to take one part of the seasons thing and make it your own not just throw everything on and hope it works.
