congrats LTEC and Leon cupcake
PS. dress is lovely

traceybath · 27/09/2009 21:48

Lovely name. Hope you're having lovely cuddles with your new baby.

Must say having a girl now after 2 boys is so much fun on the style front - how shallow is that .

Did Bicester last week and had to be dragged out of Bonpoint.

Agent Provocateur had some rather lovely nursing bras discounted - i bought a bright pink one which is gorgeous. Also noticed DKNY had lots of cosy's but all a bit too long for me.

TheMoistWorldOfSeptimusQuench · 27/09/2009 22:03

Yay, congratulations LTEC!

Leon is a lovely name. I bet he's scrummy.

Does he have matching cashmere booties? (or even, following our conversation the other day, 'a cashmere bootie'? )

LetThemEatCake · 27/09/2009 22:09

how is it that I don't know Bonpoint? tell me more!!

love the sound of bright pink AP nursing bras! I am wearing nougatines from Amoralia here

but OMG that's IT!!! i need a cozy in that delicious shade of Toast pink!!!!! not the dress!

ps - totally with you on the superficial pleasures of having a girl

Septimus - he has a cashmere pant!!

TheMoistWorldOfSeptimusQuench · 27/09/2009 22:14

Nooooo! That is too funny!

hf128219 · 27/09/2009 22:15

Congratulations!! Bonpoint is a posh french make - quite traditional children's clothes. Very nice though!

x

LetThemEatCake · 27/09/2009 22:17

i am kidding ... think my mum (a rabid knitter) would disown me if I bought any knitwear for the children ... how she gets past the baggage weighers with her bootee & cardi-stuffed luggage is beyond me ...

thanks hf!!

Hurray - huge congratulations.

traceybath · 27/09/2009 22:20

so chic and so ridiculously expensive.

Prices at Bicester a lot less but still pretty dear.

Cosy in the pink colour would be lovely. Saw a lady at National Trust place in a cornflower blue one - it looked lovely.

TheMoistWorldOfSeptimusQuench · 27/09/2009 23:14

Aah, illusions shattered!

I'm sure your mum's knitting is very chi-chi and stylish though

CaptainNancy · 28/09/2009 10:14

Congratulations LTEC- fabulous name!

BobtheWoodmouse · 28/09/2009 10:25

ETEC - Bonpoint the stuff often comes up on ebay as it is such nice quality but very pricy. I have always done well selling DD's outgrown items

There's a store on Bond St, near the Picadilly end, think there's other stores in London too.

geordieminx · 28/09/2009 10:30

Congratulations LTEC - So pleased for you - little boys rock!

Although a bit at you being a week early - he was supposed to arriving this Saturday!!!

LetThemEatCake · 28/09/2009 11:01

thanks geordie! at least this way I can be fully focussed on sending you bella bridal vibes on Sat rather than crouched on all fours in my bedroom in the throes of dilation!!!

how are you feeling? all set? x

geordieminx · 28/09/2009 11:10

Everything is grand, although very bored with waiting now - am that organised that there is nowt left to do!

What do the other dc's think of their baby brother - how old are they again?

LetThemEatCake · 28/09/2009 18:26

they're pretty chuffed but ds, at 22 months, is a touch too exuberant around him - lots of hard, enthusiastic patting on the head - "baba!! baba!!"
dd turned 3 last month so is just very eager to 'help' - by feeding him bananas, for example

what time is the wedding on Sat?

OP posts:
cornsilk · 28/09/2009 18:28

Congratulations LTEC! I love the name Leon.

eshermummy · 28/09/2009 19:20

Congratulations LTEC.
Leon Magnus is a lovely name - am really intrigued now to know what your other two are called!

geordieminx · 28/09/2009 19:46

Ah bless them. Ds is 2 1/2 and he would be a combination of them both - the way he is with the cat is terrifying

"pick samson dat up"...

"yes... but not by the neck sweetheart... he wont like that.. his eyes are bulging because he cant breathe"

Getting wed at 2pm, then meal, then off to casino at 9

LetThemEatCake · 28/09/2009 20:00

eshermummy: thanks! BTW did you see that I got a pair of dark brown boots off ebay in the end? £28!!

dd is Phoenix Isabella
ds is Cassian William

there are photos of them on my profile, they are divine, if I may say!!!

Very at all the positive feedback re: Leon's name! Both mum and MiL have been less thrilled ...

geordie - I will be thinking of you Sat and expecting to see lots of pics, please!
