Who are your style icons? Real or imaginary, past or present?
I've aspired to be Audrey Hepburn for years, before finally realsing fairly recently that I will never even begin to look as her as I have the complete opposite body shape.

I like most of what Michelle Obama wears, and I used to try to be like Justine Frischmann from Elastica

I can honestly say there is not a single celeb who looks good all the time and who I would consider an icon.

I actually like people like Chrissie Hynde who hasn't changed her look/hair or make up for 30 years but always looks dead cool. And has never resorted to sexing herself up.

Of course, Debbie Harry.

Nigella Lawson, another one who never changes the way she looks but always looks so comfortable with the way she looks.

Jemima Khan always looks stylish and elegant.

Lady Helen Taylor.

Julianne Moore.

I think Alexa Chung has great style, but my current style crush is Diane Kruger (I remember when she was a model and called Hidekrugger, I loved her then too)

Also love the boho-chic of Helena Christensen,and the sleek style of Christy Turlington.

another vote for Helena Christensen here, too. She always has a just thrown together kind of look. I also heart her hair as she has that sexily tousled thing going on. When I try and replicate, I can only manage "dragged through hedge backwards" look!

i would love to look like Nigella Lawson i think she is beautiful i dont really like her clothes tbh and i like her house as well i hate cooking though put her is some Boden gear then she would be my style icon

Agree Bodeniites. Nigella could look so much better. She is very beautiful and at times gets it totally right but generally looks as though everything is slightly ill-fitting
