Its this

I want a day dress that I can wear with my brown flys but was kind of thinking it might be ok with ankle length leggings and ballet flats as well?
Or for work with coloured tights and lovely shoes with a heel.

Am curvy, size 10-12 depending where I shop, typical hourglass shape. Large norks, tiny waist and not massively wide but definitely there hips.

itsmeolord · 20/09/2009 16:56

Just don't get it online 'cos Monsoon are buggers when it comes to returning stuff.

Jumente · 20/09/2009 17:15

It's nice but I agree it would be better with black boots.

CybilLiberty · 20/09/2009 17:16

Nice shape but not getting the grey/brown thing. they are not colours I would normally wear together. If it was a dark teal or even navy, brown would go better

janeite · 20/09/2009 17:18

I wore brown boots with a denim skirt and grey cardigan yesterday and even 'fshion police' dd1 said it looked nice! I think it would look good - although it has possible matron-potential on boobs imho.

OrmIrian · 20/09/2009 17:19

Lovely dress.

Lulubee · 20/09/2009 17:20

Word of warning though - it looks like it might go really bobbly... (pet hate)

CybilLiberty · 21/09/2009 08:02

janeite you had the all important denim barrier beween the brown and grey. So you pass muster

mollyroger · 21/09/2009 08:07

boucle doesn't go bobbly does it? It just is.

love the dress, ver versatile!

tulpe · 21/09/2009 09:12

I wouldn't have grey with brown either until recently. I have seen lots of brown/grey combos in fashion mags editorial and advertising and I think it looks great. Much more casual than black with grey.

fishie · 21/09/2009 09:17

grey and brown is ok and better if you have some blue with it, like janeite. i like navy tights.

janeite · 21/09/2009 17:16

Hurray - finally, aged 39, I get soemthing right, fashion-wise!

janeite · 21/09/2009 18:37
