I want it

You're probably alone in being able to pay for it. I'm sorry but very few people could justify paying that for a blouse - perhaps a wedding dress or mother of the bride etc but a blouse that will probably be discarded next season?

LucyOnTheSchoolRunWithDiamonds · 09/09/2009 23:29

who ever said I could afford it???!!!

LucyOnTheSchoolRunWithDiamonds · 09/09/2009 23:30

or would???!!

cookielove · 09/09/2009 23:30

erm yuck

Drusilla · 09/09/2009 23:31

It's a bit pirate-esque

cherryblossoms · 09/09/2009 23:32

There are some Chloe pieces in the V and A fashion mini-exhibition. They really are beautiful pieces of engineering + fantasy + romance. As is that.

LucyOnTheSchoolRunWithDiamonds · 09/09/2009 23:35

"perhaps a wedding dress or mother of the bride etc but a blouse that will probably be discarded next season?"

What, as opposed to the very next day???
It never fails to astonish me how people justify spending large amounts of money on wedding outfits but baulk at shelling out for every day items (jeans are a prime example)

YouLukaSimplyAmazing · 09/09/2009 23:42

sorry but yuk regardless of the money - unless you are a real beauty and can carry it off, in the same way as looking delightful in a bin bag
I bet you're gorgeous

ClaudiaSchiffer · 10/09/2009 00:35

Sorry Lucy but it's hideous.

Those fleshy colour frills make her arm look as if it's diseased.

thumbwitch · 10/09/2009 00:47

urgh. Too twee for words and vastly over-priced, plus the colour is vile.

Sorry Lucy - looks like you're on your own with that one.

DrEvil · 10/09/2009 07:26

I love it too; am not tall or skinny enough to pull it off but I bet it looks fabulous on the right shape person.

CybilLiberty · 10/09/2009 07:28

I think I could rustle up a similar look with a tan body stocking and several pairs of 40 deniers

JodieO · 10/09/2009 07:49

I think it's horrible.

EleanoraBuntingCupcake · 10/09/2009 07:51

snort @ diseased arm. it is revolting.

Sycamoretreeisvile · 10/09/2009 07:53

I think you are alone....but tis no bad thing to be a lone voice with your own style

dexter73 · 10/09/2009 08:05

It is truly horrible! Can't beleive it has nearly sold out!!

Jewelsandgems · 10/09/2009 08:05

Agree with cherry, a beautiful garment. Would I wear it? Not a good colour for me...

And lucy, totally agree about how it's surely better to spend lots of money on something that gets lots of wear (like jeans), than say a wedding dress (worn once then hidden away forever)

Flamesparrow · 10/09/2009 08:08

I'm with the diseased arm people.

Attacking Lucy about the price is shit though - there are loads of threads with extortionately priced clothes linked.

ClaudiaSchiffer · 10/09/2009 09:25

oooo, I like these boots from the same site.

ClaudiaSchiffer · 10/09/2009 09:31

Oh gawd, I've gotta stop looking at expensive clothes, there's loads i'd like but can't afford.

Also some shocking "fashion-eaten-itself" type stuff though, which is tremendously entertaining

AvadaKedavra · 10/09/2009 09:33

It's vile.

Rollmops · 10/09/2009 13:27

Trying waaaaaaay too hard with this ....
The label on the 'other shoulder' reads quite clearly " Fashion Victim".

LucyOnTheSchoolRunWithDiamonds · 10/09/2009 19:47

guess I will continue to bedazzle and beguile on the school run with my, ahem, unique sense of style, then...

OP posts:
AnyFucker · 10/09/2009 19:51

at the risk of sounding bitter (moi ??) because of the extortionate price, it really is awful

money cannot buy you taste.......

Blackduck · 10/09/2009 19:53

God that is just wrong on so many levels....
