preggers- how to accesorise black dress for wedding

So am feeling rather smug as I found a black ddress in TKmax that looks rather like this It's got a squareish/gently curved neck line though and only cost £30 . It's not maternity but bought it bigger size and with the huge legnth of sash can make it look really rather fetching......
thing is have always rather thought black is a no no for wedding (even a winter wedding which this one will be). Is there anything I can do to cheer it up a bit? Wondered about a corsage- is this naff? Where would it go on the line of a dress like this? Or I dunno, something from a haberdashery a la gok.... silk flowers round neck line? Or just keep it as is?

It's lovely

I'd wear with corsage or fabulous brightly coloured necklace
coloured pashmina
amazing shoes

black is now v chic for wedding. might look odd in a country church in blistering august heat (as if) but for winter is great

Black with white is also very smart for a wedding and stops the black being too heavy-looking IYSWIM.

White or cream smart long cardie/jacket/coat
Statement necklace/scarf/bag

Lovely dress by the way.

ohh good, glad to hear you style gurus think black will be ok- have a lovely cream coat which I might just be able to squeeze into (undone!)or a cream wrap.... Where might i pin the corsage, around the sash bit?
could always do matching necklace and shoes i suppose?

several people wore black and white to my wedding, did not bother me in the slightest, i was too busy to notice, it was only when some-one said something about MIL wearing it when we looked at photos that I noticed.

Its not like you are going to be wearing all black with a black hat, keep it as it is, with a coloured necklace/coat etc. Cream/black is good for a winter wedding.
