I am crap at deciding what clothes to buy and i'd like to look nicer than I currently do.

I like the leggings and tunic/dress look and I think I look ok in that but I am struggling to find tunics I like, some are just so in your face lol.

So, I have found some and would like opinions. I am going to apologise in advance for the owl one, but for some reason I am drawn to it

flowery dress

owl tunic

weird people dress

They are all normally more money than i'd normally spend on a single item, but I feel so scruffy lately that I think I need to spend a bit more on a couple of things.

I am 31, size 12, and 5'2, dark hair and eyes and large boobs.

All comments welcomed

Ooo NorkillyChallenged - I like that flattering knitted tunic. Do you mind telling me how tall you are so that I can gauge how long it would be on me (5'1"). I would wear it with jeans. Thanks.

NorkilyChallenged · 17/09/2009 21:36

Hm, I'm probably 5'5, maybe 5'6 not sure.

It's lurvely, probably reaches almost to the end of my fingers if I hold my arms by my sides (if that makes sense) and so totally covers my arse when standing but probably not when bending over dealing with my dc!!

I think it would look great on you. I wore it over jeans this week and it was great.

I'm normally a size 10 and felt that it was on the small side (though not too small)

mejon · 17/09/2009 22:10

Thanks for the info. Sadly I am nowhere near a 10 but I just may get one to try. I can always send it back if I look a fright !

nutty / norkily what is sizing like on owly tunic? website says it is very small but it looks loose.

fishie · 21/09/2009 16:59

bump for owl fans

Love both Owl and People, I like your style. In fact, I ordered them as well as the ultimate lbd. Never seen that website before, I love it!

Fishie - sorry been on holiday so only just saw this.

I wouldn't say it was particularly small. I'm a 10 (definite 10 top half and almost 12 hips/bum) and the 10 fits me fine.

The tunic itself isn't fitted at all but does have a shape. It looks a bit shapeless until you put it on but looks really nice on. It has some pleats at the front which mean it doesn't cling on my post-baby tummy too much but it still looks a flattering shape I think.

I wore it on holiday and had comments twice. Okay, once was from my mum. But still

norky! hope hol was lovely. owl tunic arrived today and i have just tried it on with full prancing about. what a charming garment it is.

a fair fit, think going down a size is not a wise move and i am usually smaller too.
