Jeans for curvy figures - Next have none left at all!!

I have been wearing a particular style of jeans from Next for several years now (not the same pair!!). I tried to get some in summer but they were always out of stock in the Directory. Now with the winter directory - same problem . THe lovely lady in the shop tried to find some for me, but there is none anywhere, and she suggested that they have not come from the manufacturers. They are called high rise boot cut jeans and sit lovely on the waist and keep the muffin top in place!

So, where can I get some jeans to fit my fat bum in! All the usual stores and styles are too low so I am displaying builders bum, and mens ones are not right.

Everyone wears jeans, and I see plenty of ladies my size (16) and short in decent jeans - so where are they getting them from?

Do I need to be looking in Evans or shops like that for the larger lady?

It is really annoying me, and I am sure Mn can come up with the answer

I got the most fantastic pair in New Look the other day for £10 - bootcut, dark, medium waist.

i think it's these ones but in 30"

I used to wear the Hula ones but they had too much stretch in them and went baggy after an hours wear. These ones are much tighter - slightly too tight for the first few hours and I'm wearing them today and they haven't gone baggy.

The link I put up is the short ones, 28" for you

French Connection good for pear shapes, and a quite high waisted here

andirobobo · 07/09/2009 13:33

Never looked at them in New Look as assumed they are for skinny minnies!

Dorothy Perkins - i used to get mine from there years ago, so will try there as well - it is next to New Look!

I tried 10 pairs on in M&S the other day - yes 10 - and not one pair fitted properly! I was so disheartened as well!

Simply Be website - Lulumaman you may have hit the nail on the head there as there too many to choose from! I can see a large parcel landing here soon with lots of jeans to try!! Need casual and going out ones!

French Connection may be too skinny as I forgot to add I have thunder thighs as well!!

Thanks ladies - I knew the MN possie would know the answer - will report back if I find the ultimate pair!!

I'm fat curvy and Peacocks jeans are the best fitting ones I have had in a long time.

The Simply Be Brooke fit are great. I have them in black and in dark denim. I am 5'2 and a 16.

I have some great ones from Matalan. The 18 fits great (if not a little loose actually!). They come in various lengths. Mine is 27" and just the right lenght. I find 28" too long and drags on the ground.

I got my first ever pair of "slim fit" jeans at the weekend - a 16 from Wallis and they are great. I am a complete short arse so I think they must have been from their petite (ha ha what an unlikely word to describe me!) range

Now I need some boots to tuck my jeans in!
