for those of you who don't know .. (god, I am so bored of myself) .. about to have 3rd baby in a few weeks, looking for bfing-friendly clothes that don't come from a maternity outlet ....and that will be reasonably forgiving while I shed the baby weight

this dress?

this dress

this cardi

and this cardigan are all possibilities

Bear in mind I am in a VERy irritable mood, COMPLETELY off my food and therefore liable to make bad choices ... so guide me back to the way of the stylish if I have erred horribly ...

Oh yes, get the poppy one, but it'll have to wait till next summer.

pasturesnew · 06/09/2009 22:43

Here's an interesting buttoned dress

pasturesnew · 06/09/2009 22:48

Is this French Connection graphic print buttoned dress nice or horrible?

pasturesnew · 06/09/2009 22:49

Think this French Connection gingham buttoned dress is nicer actually

LetThemEatCake · 06/09/2009 22:50

It borders on horrible, yet I would wear it, and I reckon I could get away with it too

Here's a Pippi Longstocking type dress

pasturesnew · 06/09/2009 22:55

Oooh this is nice - stripy batwing dress

LetThemEatCake · 06/09/2009 22:55

oooh, I quite like that gingham one ... you are on a roll, pastures, keep going, keep going!!!!

i have seen the gap dress in real life, and indeed tried it on. it is v nice, versatile and funky, didn't buy it as a tad too short for me

i like the second cardi, the butterfly one is ODD

LetThemEatCake · 06/09/2009 23:00

mazzy, how tall are you? I am tall so it may well be too mini on me? also, is it cold-weather-appropriate?

OP posts:
LetThemEatCake · 06/09/2009 23:01

Cross over V neckline soft knit dress which I think would be really lovely with a long necklace of your choice - it's not actually a wrap dress, honest!

pasturesnew · 06/09/2009 23:07

Rather a boring shirt dress but the fit looks nice and you could accessorise

pasturesnew · 06/09/2009 23:09

Nice scoop neck buttoned dress

pasturesnew · 06/09/2009 23:18

Ethical shirt style patterned tea dress

pasturesnew · 06/09/2009 23:20

This dress looks somehow comfy, not sure why.

off to bed now have exhausted my ideas of where to look given that Boden and White Stuff and White Co. dresses have been linked to in other threads on similar topic anyway

LetThemEatCake · 06/09/2009 23:22

LetThemEatCake · 07/09/2009 09:38

and after all of that.....
I bought nothing from ASOS and went for the Isabella Oliver cardi suggested by Moondog

and am still tempted by the FC gingham ...
