My deoderant seems to have an " on" button

bought some sure "Oderant (? monsters inc) today and it has a slidey ON Button
is htis to stop random haphazard squirtage?

mine has too.i dont get it.mines on a shelf,out the way of dc so i leave it on.

Sure has this now too, I'm guessing it's because they don't have a separate lid anymore which would stop random sprays when it's on.

Presumably if you're a sporty/globe trotting person who carries deodorant around in a gym bag/suitcase etc, this might be a useful feature. Mine doesn't travel far once it's brought home from the shop.

Yes, presumably not having a lid saves on the plastic they use, and saves them money. Bet the price hasn't gone down though...
