I saw a teenage boy trying on a shocking pink cardi in New Look yesterday.

My older boy only 8 , not into clothes unless it's got a Storm trooper on the front.

noddyholder · 03/09/2009 14:56

Boys love pink.Lots of ds friends wear it.makes them look so healthy

Pielight · 03/09/2009 14:56

No don't think so. Am running through his wardrobe in my mind.

That pale pink is a v. good colour though. dh does.

NoahFence · 03/09/2009 14:57

you should see this outfit he got ata Zara boy - he was so chuffed and was doing that "I am not smiling but its really hard not to admire myself" thing

ds looks lovely in this

Pielight · 03/09/2009 14:58

In my mind, there's a hint of the toff about boys in pink. No idea why. Is unfair. But is linked with men in red trousers etc.

Mamazon · 03/09/2009 14:58

DS would love it and so would my extremely fashion concious 13 yo brother.

Pielight · 03/09/2009 14:58

Oh I love the trying not to admire myself look! I love him. What else did he get?

CybilLiberty · 03/09/2009 14:58

Ooh pink top red trousers!

NoahFence · 03/09/2009 14:58

Pielight · 03/09/2009 15:01

omg. perhaps the boden catalogue is responsible for my toff link of pink for boys, and bright red trousers for men? Who knew they'd wormed their way into my very mind so well?

CybilLiberty · 03/09/2009 15:02

Noah WHERE do you keep all these clothes you keep ordering? ('I've ordered the cardi in teal, GunMetal and Purple, the boots in Pewter and Bark, and the mac in Racing Navy and Charcoal') I'm enthralled.

NoahFence · 03/09/2009 15:03

CybilLiberty · 03/09/2009 15:05

I'm too fat for all my trousers atm. I have resorted to buying wide legged thick jersey numbers in navy from the unfashionable section in M&S. Will wear with ballet s and a top.

NoahFence · 03/09/2009 15:06

I tried on these LOVELy next ones
but 12 a bit ahem tight ( god anna would have a fit)
14 were cavernous

OP posts:
CybilLiberty · 03/09/2009 15:07

I'm sure Anna would approve of my attepmts at Fat Girl Parisienne Chic

noddyholder · 03/09/2009 15:17
