Do Boden not sell anything for 4 year old boys?

DS just outgrowing all is age 3-4 clothes. Usually buy from Next and thought I'd look somewhere different.

All Boden boys stuff is age 3-4 or then a jump up to 5-6.

What do you put a just turned 4 year old into?? or do you just shop elsewhere for a year or so?

I found this very frustrating as well, it isn't just Boden though, Yesterday was in M&S and they don't do age 6-7 in their school range, DS1 is about to turn 6 and is quite tall, so the 5-6 is too small, but the 7-8 is HUGE!

DS1 always had 5-6 at the age of 4 because he was a chunky boy. DS2 is still in 3-4 when he is actually 5 years old because he is a skinny-mini!

DS is tall but skinny.
He is growing out of 3-4 as all getting a bit too short.
He will def need 4-5 and 5-6 would DROWN him!

Any other ideas of places to try to find a few T's and a couple of pairs of cords?

Also, Boden sizes are very generous for boys clothes. You may well find the 3-4 is a perfect size for a while.

I always just get the size that they are if you know what I mean. So I just bought a 2-3 year old coat for a 3 year old and 5-6 trousers for a 6 year old. The sizes are generous IMO and I do seem to get two years out of them.

but if the 5-6 has adjustable waist why not buy that size and roll up the bottoms?

i know, it is absolutely fucking ridiculous.

i've got a slim 4.5yo and rang boden to ask for advice about the puffy coat sizing to be told "we haven't had training in that garment yet".

i get quite a lot of stuff at la redoute and sometimes zara but it is hard to find anything slim and long enough - ds is still in 18m shorts (i think this is because they were cut for nappies though).

maybe will try 3-4 then and see - can you do free returns with boden or do you have to pay to send back??
ds is very skinny so needs the adjustable waist to be at its tightest on his current trousers to get the length.
if i went up 2 sizes to 5-6, even with adjustable waist they would look like clown trousers

my ds is in 2-3 shorts but needs bigger sizes in trousers and tops for the length as he's so tall

i found a couple of pairs of trousers with turn ups recently that i bought in age 2-3 and un picked the turn ups to make much longer - they are perfect!

Gap trousers are tighter round the waist, boden & next always come up too big for us. Vertbaudet are very skinny, the only trousers my skinny boy wears his actual size in.

I find their sizing quite generous. DS2(5) is still drowning in some 3-4 Boden trousers that I bought for DS1. That's 4 years they've been going now.

Have you tried any French brands. La redoute, or that make they used to stock in Mothercare. I bought a few bits for my rather stocky (muscle - he has a six pack at 7) DS1 and they always seemed designed for tall, skinny kids.
