a completely shallow thread about leg shaving and fake tans

OK, so left to their own devices, my pins resemble raw chicken legs in colour. I've wasted precious minutes of my holidays applying fake tan to my legs (which takes ages to dry and I hate all the palaver) only to then have to shave it all off every two days (yes I'm a bit hairy). It's a pointless merry-go-round.

Does anyone have an obvious solution pls?

What do you all do?

Oh yes MABS, I am deeply afraid of stick-thin beauty therapists or cosmetic counter saleswomen who are all hair, nails and heels.

Having said that, home treatments can be such a hassle, so I may be persuaded. Thanks for all the info

I epilate as well, every 2/3 days during summer and once a week outside of that.

I found that it takes a while to get to grips with epilating - the more you do it the finer the hairs get though so perseve.

bellisima epilators have moved on a lot. The one I have now is the wet/dry one - can take it in the shower which makes the whole process much easier. I barely feel it on my legs and even use it on my bikini line before holiday and whenver else I can be bothered!

Sorry. Only just come back to this after a couple of days away. Thanks Alibaba - I will investigate the Epilator. The wet and dry model sounds v. convenient to use.
