Do genuine uggs still make you walk with your feet sloped inwards?

I really want a pair of the cardie ones and dp has said i can have a pair for xmas&birthday combined but it is a lot of cash for one pair of boots. The cheap ones look ok but they seem to slope inwards with wear, are the genuine ones sturdier?

The real ones are very sturdy & i have 3 pairs, the oldest ones being 3 yrs old & they still look fab.

I think that you'll be fine with genuine ones. I am assured that it is only the fakes that collapse. I have just got some cardi uggs and they are lovely and comfy. The fit is a bit on the large side though, i am a 6.5 but they don't come in half sizes. i therefore had to go for a 7 and they are a bit big. By contrast i also have the short classic sheepskin style uggs in a 7 and they fit perfectly (and so are a smaller fit i think). What colour cardis are you after?

My sil had genuine ones and they have sloped terribly, I have had to tell her they look stoopid from the back.

She is vair rich though and so has just brought new ones, even though the last pair only lasted 5 months before sheepskin and pavement met.

On the other hand my friend had a £20 pair off e-bay that haven't done it at all and she has been wearing them for ages.

I wonder if it is the foot or at least the style of walking that causes it?

I think i want grey cardies, im can't fit my calves in the sheepskin ones so i'm hoping the cardies fit!

Grey is good, matches with everything!

WTWTW- you might have a point re style of walking. I do always make an effort to walk properly in mine. They are so comfy though that perhaps some are inclined to mooch and slouch along as if in house slippers!

4andnotout · 25/08/2009 15:38

Do you think these are fake?

I have ones with rubber soles - they don't seem to slope

tinseltot · 25/08/2009 15:50

Hard to tell sorry. I don't think i would risk it though as there are plenty of fakes out there. They could fall apart in 2 minutes and so end up being an expensive waste of money.

Would you consider pink or aqua blue colour cardi uggs? I have seen genuine uggs in these colours for £68 from legit retailers. i'll have a look for them to see if still available and link for you if you are interested. Also forgot to mention that i reckon that they will defo fit your calves. They are very stretchy!

EldonAve · 25/08/2009 15:52

I would assume they are fake or stolen - why else would they be half price?

4andnotout · 25/08/2009 15:54

Thats what i thought

I don't mind coloured ones my other winter boots are red patent dm's!

ok, found link for you. If you like colour then i'd defo go for these. ASOS is a well known retailer. I got my grey cardis from there (i paid about £124 tho as black, grey and cream are full price). My uggs are defo genuine and so i trust this site!

I love colour, i'd prob go for the pink if i was you! Great bargin too as nearly half price. Also my local Shcuh was selling the pink ones at full price last weekend!

If you click on the arrow by the side of the '2 colours available' sentence it gives you the option of pink. Both are available in size 4 and can be returned within 21 days if they don't fit or you don't like them.
