Are they worth the money?

We had one for DD1 last winter, it bobbled very badly and quickly wore thin on the cuffs. Very poor quality for the price. Have recently run it through the machine on the wool cycle, however, and it seems fine. Fleece-lined raincoat or padded jacket a better buy IMHO, we have had both in the past and they have survived to be handed down to DD2.

Lol lynettescavo ! I love style and beauty for myself but i draw the line where school coats are concerned. Hats off to you all for insane devotion to the cause!

Indeed! If it's practicality you want you need 'products'

LS, you'll have to let me us know what you think of the cord coat when it comes. None of my dds actually need a new coat, but it has filled me with wantiness. On a more practical note, I love all three colours so could hold out for the sale..

I will let you know.

Has anyone tried washing this year's girls' duffle? Hoxtonchick?

I noticed they changed the fabric so it was less likely to bobble, so was wondering if I could chance a wool wash.

Ta!
