What foundation for 31-yr old skin that's starting to sag? :(

Think have neglected my skin for too long. Haven't been using toner or moisturises regularly for the past oh maybe 8-10 years and am starting to see the results

Skin has also become dry recently due to stress, and also acne-prone (have a really stressful job with lots of daily deadlines!)

Wonder if anyone can recommend a good foundation that's not too thick and cakey but nice and light, moisturisey, and maybe even has some lifting effects (but not expensive like la mer, please, am on a midrange budget) and maybe even has SPF 30-50 to boot.

am getting desperate and am definitely repenting my ways

TIA

Clinique repairwear is good.

Wear a good base underneath - beauty flash balm is good for me. I use chanel vitalumiere.

I was also going to suggest vitalumiere. I think it's spf 15 - I've not seen any make-up that's as high as 30.

Otherwise, a tinted moisturiser might be the job. Estee Lauder do a good one

Bobbi Brown do lots worth looking at, and so do Prescriptives. I use Clinique Repair Wear but can't believe you are sagging at 31! I am 20+ years ahead of you!

maybe you should invest in a good miosturiser to help with your skin? there are so many good foundations out there, a primer before applying foundation is good as it helps give even coverage and skin tone etc (so they say!)
i have recently discovered make up shopping on line!

I'd recommend Clinique City Block- SPF 25 or 40 to use under make up, and any of their moisturisers, except the yelllow one which is useless.

The last time I was at the Clinique counter they thought I was 10 years younger than I am and I said it was down to City Block. Sun's the biggest ager ever.

My tip, from experience, before you invest in any foundation that claims to lift, plump etc, first start by exfoliating. That is the key to good skin both on your face and body. Otherwise you are literally just putting a mask over the problem, you want your skin to glow underneath. A good face mask (such as any from The Body Shop) just once a week takes little time and gives good results. As you say your skin appears to be sagging, I also suggest an excellent moisturiser with an SPF such as Estee Lauder Daywear Plus. A little will put back well needed moisture without making it greasy. I am not a sales person, honest!

Hi, if you actually starting to sag, and I don't mean any offence, but lose some weight if you are overweight? I have a 'fat' face and the more weight I put on well the weight pulls it down, im 33.
Other than that, slap on a moisturisor with a sunblock and wear that under any foundation.

to be honest, no make up will stop sagging.
Facial exercises might.
The make up that lifts is I think meant for wrinkles that need tightening.
