Big boobs smaller waist long legs!!!! i cant find a dress for a wedding !!! helllppppppppppp!!!!

as you can guess im in such a tiz,
im 5'8, red hair, tanned skin (naturally), big boobs, size 14 waist but dress has to be an 18 to fit my boobs but all i seem to look like is a sack .

its depressing any help please!!! spend up to £80 on dress as spent fortune on kids already!!!

Sadly I just have the big boobs and not the longer legs, but my experience is that the chance of finding a dress that fits all parts of you right is only slightly greater than winning the lottery. I have had two, perhaps three really good ones in my whole life. And they were bias cut, so a bit more forgiving.

As a result, I almost always go to weddings in a skirt/top combo so that all bits fit properly and people can see that I actually have a waist!

i really wanted to buy a dress even my dp is looking forward to seeing me dressed up as with 4 dc to look after its jeans and vest tops!!! thanks for the advice though!

Ah, but you can still look v glam in a skirt with a lovely lacy top and a fitted jacked (and thereby show lots of cleavage too!)

How about this - you'd need to look at their sizing, as you are prob a 14 supercurvy. My friend has this dress, and it looks fabulous on - you really see her waist

A belt over a fitted dress is def the way to go that way you can sow off your va-va-zoom curves

Earlier this year I bought my favourite ever dress from Hobbs. Sadly I can't find it on their site. It was a shift dress which is a shape I normally avoid, but there was something about the way it was cut (pleat givein extra fabric from the neckline) that made it perfectly. If there is a branch near you I'd try going there. The assistants alwasy persuade me to try things that I would never have chosen and they always seem to get it spot on.

The other shop I've had luck with lately is wallis. Their dresses/tops seem to be cut for curvy ladies at the moment. Again they have some lovely shift dresses (on the sale that are worth a try (free delivery and returns).

do i avoid satin ?

There is a Boden maxi dress in jersey on the sale site which is very accomodating to big bosoms. I got a '16 long' just the other day - must have been a return but there were some 14s yesterday. I think it is £36 and I really heart mine.

yes avoid satin with kids. marks too easily

not very forgiving of any lumps and bumps either ( not suggesting you have any )

very hard to find a dress that will fit 18 top half and 14 bottom half. except stretchy jersey or bravissimo

skirt/top can be equally lovely and more chance of it fitting

Boden stretchy jersey maxi dress now back in stock in lots of colours / sizes, btw.
