Nails: what to do when one of them gets ripped untimely?

I am ashamed that I'm asking this at this advanced age. But I've never been good at keeping my nails - either I've bitten them or they've splintered or got broken off through general housework/gardening/DIY wear and tear. But recently I've beng trying really hard. They got quite nice and long and were quite strong. But one of them got broken off while I was building a sand castle and it looks daft. Do you trim the rest to look the same? or just ignore with the gap and wait for it to grow?

I'd trim a fair bit or if you had your heart set on long nails for a special occassion, then go to a nail bar and ask for a repair job.

Tbh, i generally have shite nails, but I used to have beauties.

Bet your sandcastle was fabulous, Orm.
You don't need to trim them all to the same length as the broken one - just a bit closer so it doesn't stand out too much.
