Moondog - the other thread got deleted just as I was reading your link to another dress. Can you please repost and link.

it's lovely but it doesn't come in an 18 and it's £195

perchance a bit expensive for a plain navy crepe sleeveless dress?

Swedes · 28/07/2009 20:53

But you could wear it over a sheer white blouse or under a cardi or with a twatty little scarf?

£195 is a lot isn't it?

I might have a look at it in the flesh. See if it looks £195 worth of dress.

I once had a navy crepe Max Mara dress that was a bit similar. It was heavy and drapey and lovely and I felt a million dollars every time I wore it. I wore it for years and years.

I do like FWM stuff, but not always tall enough for it.
They always have lovely colours...
am foffling @ twatty little scarf though!

EachPeachPearMum · 28/07/2009 21:15

foffling?

wth...roffling, obv

moondog · 28/07/2009 21:17

It's at the bottom right hand side of your ling Swedes.

Swedes · 28/07/2009 22:26

EPPM - I like foffling.

Moondog - Yes, that dress is lovely. But would be hopeless for me as I have a 40s washerwoman bosom - I need that v neckline.

Oh no arm pits have no place in the workplace yuk

BuckBuckMcFate · 28/07/2009 22:37

Would it not look a bit bunchy with a cradigan over the top of it though?

BlueKangerooWonders · 28/07/2009 22:42

Love it (and am still regretting not buying a red FWM dress over a decade ago). Buy it!

pourmeanotherglass · 28/07/2009 22:44

dry clean only? for work?

islandofsodor · 28/07/2009 22:47

Thats a gorgeous dress and I love it but

HOW MUCH!!!!!!!!!

woodenchair · 28/07/2009 22:49

tis a lovely dress. Would be better with sleeves anr a better price tag though.

Is it wtong to be excied about winter clothes in july?

cornsillk · 28/07/2009 22:55

£195 for work? Blimey! Are you Sarah Jessica Parker? It is very nice by the way.

Swedes · 29/07/2009 11:57

I hadn't really noticed the £195 price tag. Yes, I'd prefer it with sleeves but I still think it would look great with a little shruggy cardi in a bright colour. I imagine it would be v useful but I am mostly swooning over its navy-ness.

If you want navy or dark blue, then this IMVHO is way more beautiful.

This is cool if you can pull off the "military" look.

Not dark blue, but still blue and very nice.

Pricier, but very stylish, I think.

This looks comfy too.

Bettymum · 29/07/2009 12:32

My new favourite word is foffling. I am going to try and drop it casually into conversation this afternoon .

Dress v v nice but not sure about the sleevelessness.

noddyholder · 29/07/2009 12:43

That is lovely but could look lumpy on the wrong figure.Nice over a white blouse though v stylish
