Advice re Boden childrens' trouser sizes

They seem to go from size 1.5-2 to a 3yr with nothing in between. For a tall, but short legged, plump toddler what should I be buying? How big are the size 3s? She has one pair of 12-18mths which she can still wear, and a 1.5-2 which fits ok but not sure how much longer it will last her so if I'm buying winter stuff and want it to last is it worth going up a size or is the difference too huge?

3 yr size is actually 2-3 years, apparently. I phoned and asked this very question a few weeks ago. I didn't think it was clear either, but they acted like I was a loon!

My ds1, 3.3years, is in the 3yr ones (i.e. 2-3 years in normal clothes speak), but he is very short and thin.

I don't think they're hugely bigger than 1.5-2 years (1 or 2 cm longer and wider at a rough guess).

thank you, that's exactly what I needed to know.

If you look at the page showing an individual garment, there is a tab called 'body/garment measurements' which give just that. Very useful if you want to check exact sizes at any age.
