Went into Bravissimo wearing 36D, came out wearing 30F!

I've read on here many times the importance of a properly fitting bra, so went off to Bravissimo to get myself fitted.

I'm now sat in my 30F bra, which felt comfortable in the fitting room, feeling somewhat breathless at how tight it is.

Can that be right? Am I going to have to go back? I had no idea what size to go for at first so they tried me in a 32DD so they've seen me in a 32 strap size and said it was too big.

This is probably a good thing. I used to wear a 36d/c (despite always getting measured at M & S and other department stores). I got properly fitted at Rigby and Peller about 4 years ago and since then have worn 32E. I go back once a year to restock and get my size checked and buy additional bras from Freya or Fantasie ranges as I cant afford Rigby and Peller bras.

Its a bit weird at first but see how much better clothes fit. Its also much much better for your breast tissue, mine stopped what had before then seemed like a relentless drift towards my waist. You get used to the way it feels pretty quickly. Of course if its really uncomfortable after a week take it back.

I was introduced to MN while Google searching for a good bra fitters, and one of the threads was recommending Bravissimo. I was slightly apprehensive as I was only a 36B, but knew they had grown during pregnancy. So I went in and discovered I was a 34E. What a difference! I got a couple from there but found good non-wired ones in BHS (£16 for 2) and some larger cups in La Senza, tho I was an F there.
It might only be temporary but I will enjoy having boobs for the first time in my life - especially when they still stick out more than my belly!!
