Mens clothes.........what are your 40 somethings wearing ???

I want dp to buy some new clothes, he is alsways in tracksuit bottoms with t'shirts (tucked in too) and I would like him to smarten up a bit.

He reckons that the clothes I like for him are too young (jeans and smartish tops), so what else 40 somethings wearing then ???

He is 47 by the way.

my dp is 40 and i am 25 so i am always trying to update his look but when i throw his old clothes in the bin he takes them out and hides them in the cupboard and they make there way through the wash and back on to my ironing pile

I mentioned to him today that I will have a look for some tops for him when i go to the shops tommorow and he said 'no, you will get crap'
