What do you wear over your swimsuit/bikini?

I bought a monsoon kaftan thingy last year but it kind of fell apart rather quickly.

What will make me feel gorgeous and covered up by the pool/on the beach? And where shall I look (online)?

I just wear a sarong, quite thick material tied into a halterneck dress, then when sunbathing, I use it to lie on instead of a towel

A raincoat usually, we tend not to go anywhere exotic

Really though I usually buy stuff like that from primark, Tessies or Sainsbos, I prefer to have a few different 'looks' for a sunny holiday.

Ooh, how do you tie a sarong into a halterneck dress, norks?

Put sarong around you under your arms, take the corners and twist them around each other then put them behind your neck and tie.

I got a great kaftan thing from M&S- all cotton, bell sleeves with a lace insert- cost £9.50- got it in turquoise but they also do black and white- think it's still on website.

cookielove · 25/07/2009 11:37

i bought my sister a saress she liked it

janeite · 25/07/2009 11:39

I tried that M&S kaftan on - it looked great on the hanger but bloomin' horrible on me.

I have got a lovely cotton M&S dress, quite sheer and short but so light and comfortable to wear. I've also got one of those mini dresses with a smocked top and little straps.

And - forgive me Cod for I have sinned - yesterday I bought a sarong as well.
