Many of their items are now 80% off. I have ordered two pairs of trousers for a mere £30 each as opposed to stupid money I do love Toast but am always a bit at their prices.

Thanks for that.

I just ordered some trousers aswell

TheRealMrsJohnSimm · 22/07/2009 13:31

You are very welcome

Which ones did you go for? I have ordered these and these.

There are usually lots of returns at this point in the sale so worth keep checking in each day to see if a much-desired item has suddenly come back into stock

I ordered exactly the same ones

I'm hoping they will be thick enough for autumn wear.

TheRealMrsJohnSimm · 22/07/2009 14:53

oh me too

I was hoping that with the cotton content, they wouldn't look too obviously linen-y and therefore not too summery.

any nice twill mrsjohnsim?

TheRealMrsJohnSimm · 22/07/2009 15:07

Chevre!

Quite possibly!

Do the sizes come up big or small??
Am a toast virgin [though I do like a nice crumpet].

TheRealMrsJohnSimm · 22/07/2009 15:10

Sizes are generous, ime.

I've ordered those preveli ones and a v bargainous scarf

treedelivery · 22/07/2009 15:13

Excellent

Pruneurs · 22/07/2009 15:24

Fab
I bought a few things - really nice!
I got a Toast skirt for £7.50 in a charity shop recently. I am cheap.

Pruneurs · 22/07/2009 15:24

Lots of twill, goatwoman

mustsleep · 22/07/2009 15:25

treedelivery are you still interested in that jumperoo??

treedelivery · 22/07/2009 15:27

Bugger I got one yesterday! Off ebay. Tsk!

Good you have reminded me, I shall go and empty my Toast basket. Sadly. Spent the £ on the jumperoo. Marvellous thing.

tattycoram · 22/07/2009 16:46

By the way these sandals are cheap because they are impossible to walk in - the sole is heavy and the top is flimsy. Very odd and uncomfortable feeling. They look nice though

TheRealMrsJohnSimm · 22/07/2009 19:40

Tatty - they look like they are uncomfortable, tbh. (BTW, where did you book for accommodation in Parga? Want to take DCs back there again next year by myself so don't want to do the villa at the top of the hill again as its abit lonely up there!)

Chevre.......am LOLing as just got an email from Toast to say order despatched. The breakdown of items says "flared trousers linen/twill".

Clearly, am onto a twill thang this season!

Has anyone ordered the coco dress? I can't decide.

TheProvincialLady · 22/07/2009 19:52

I just have. Thought it was worth a chance.

cornsillk · 22/07/2009 19:54

The coco dress? It's difficult to see how flared/A line it is on the model as she's sat down. I'm tempted though.

TheRealMrsJohnSimm · 22/07/2009 19:58

Cornsilk - the skirt looks quite flared to me rather than A line - it really drapes down the sides of the chair she is sitting on and in the "just the dress" photo it looks quite gathered at the front of the skirt.

OP posts:
TheProvincialLady · 22/07/2009 20:04

Yes the coco dress. I'm not sure whether it will drown me though (I am only 5'2" and size 6). Sometimes that sort of thing works on me, sometimes not.

Have also ordered the aleda satin twill jacket, in graphite. We'll see.

cornsillk · 22/07/2009 20:06

hmmm I see what you mean. Can't decide....

jujumaman · 22/07/2009 20:28

What do we think of this?

I had my eye on it in the catalogue but not sure if I'm simply losing it and it's minging

fishie · 22/07/2009 20:34

i saw the dress of it in rl and it is TIGHT.

cornsillk · 22/07/2009 20:36

Don't like that jumper.
