What age is she? If she is tallish I bought a couple of low rise-ish wide leg linen trousers in Gap a while ago. I think they're still on sale - half price now . They wash well and fit beautifully.

I bought some in New Look. they have white, navy, grey, stone and black in various lengths. Unlined. I am v pleased with mine and will go back and get another pair. But then again, I'm not 17! They are quite low-rise, but not mega low-rise.
