i like leggings

maybe the style police will shoot me. but i like leggings. if you have nice legs, which are easily acheivable, if you do a minimal amount of excercies, then they look good with a longish t shirt, or short mini dress.
and they are a lot more comfortable than jeans, or shorts, or skirts.

i'm 36, and terrified of looking like mutton dressed as lamb, but i dont think i do. plus, i always keep my bum covered inleggings.

I agree but I'm struggling to find nice things to wear on top of leggings (that cover bum, hips and thighs as mentioned). Any links to good ideas, suggestions? Pics would be great.

Leggings are a staple of my wardrobe. I wear them underneath dresses most days.

norks, i wear those really trendy short dresses with them. dresses i would never ever wear as dresses, coz they show to much leg. they work well as tops

i would wear some of these dresses with leggings not all, as some are truly vile, and others would look awful on my huge norks, but, thats the sort of thing i mean.

where do you all buy your leggings from?

I've also been consciously avoiding it but I keep seeing little combos I really like- long black leggings with short (just over bum) black tunic, I think it looks good.

Leggings look lovely these days if you wear a long top. Funky. I wore them first time round in the eighties when you wore them with normal tops. Yikes! I see pictures of myself and think Ye Gods! I had one pair in vertical blue stripes and my legs were like knots on cotton. I'd never wear them again.

Can anyone recommend where to buy a decent pair of leggings?

I got some nice grey ones from Limited Collection at M&S the other day for £9.50 I think, but am swaying over whether to keep them for fear of being in a Whitney trying to look like Britney situation.
