Flat shoes to go with dress pictured for Friday evening pubbery?

I'm off out tomorrow eve for the second time in 18 months thanks to pregnancy/breastfeeding related confinement

I'm wearing a dress like

but black with multi coloured floral print

The only flat shoes I have are converse boots/flipflips/biker boots so aren't suitable.

Can anyone point me to flat shoes that would go? I don't really want sandals (especially not the gladiator style ones). Am planning trekking into town tomorrow so New Look/Dorothy's/Barratts etc best. Budget up to £30 I guess.

Not sure it's needed for shoes but I'm 5'4 and a size 14

Thanks hopefully!

Not sure what shoes would go with that dress apart from sandals, but I am having a look

Yeah I think you're right mrsmaid. I was thinking of those flat pumps you get? But might look too clumpy.

Nice sandals would be great

I think pumps could work.

I have these which I wear a lot. They are a bit over buget but much more padded and solid underfoot (and therefore comfortable) than some of the cheaper ballet slipper style that you can get [comfy shoes emoticon].

They are available in black but possibly more summery if you can find a colour to match with the pattern in the dress.

ballet pumps would be fine so long as you have good legs, but I assume in that length of dress you must have decent legs and ankles.

Figment - I have decent legs but my dress is quite a bit longer than the one in the pic (just above my knees) so they don't need to be model length!

Barbara - that's the style I was thinking of. There is red in the dress so am off into town to see if I can find owt!

these maybe?
