Back-less bra quest.....

StirlingTheStrong · 03/07/2009 20:22

I have a wedding to go to at the end of July and have seen a lovely back-less dress from Reiss but I dont want to go bra-less (I am 34dd so dont want them loose!).

Does anyone know what the options are - I usually stay away from this type of dress but I would like to give it a go

Thanks

How about the Ultimo backless ?

mrsmerryweather · 03/07/2009 20:35

Have you looked at the obvious- M&S, FIgleaves,La Senza, Rigby and Peller?

I goes quite low at the back - a normal bra would be seen and the straps are very fine.

I think I am talking myself out of it now!

I used one of these to convert a bra for my low backed wedding dress. I had the added problem of needed something that wouldn't show up from the front and this was the only solution I could find. Hardly sexy wedding night stuff but it did work!

CMOTdibbler · 03/07/2009 20:43

You can put clear straps on the Ultimo one, or they have a backless/strapless basque

StirlingTheStrong · 03/07/2009 20:45

Oooh, quite like the Bravissimo one - I shall visit the local lingerie shop tomorrow and see what they have to offer.

Thanks for the advice

Have you tried the wonderbra multi plunge? It has lods of different combinations including a converter to make it low back.

blowninonabreeze · 03/07/2009 20:46

i was going to suggest the same as feedthegoat, but doesn't sound suitable.

personally as someone with a similar sized chest it doesn't sound a goer! (although I have breast fed for 2 years which has undoubtedly aided my migration south!)

mrsmerryweather · 03/07/2009 20:58

Sorry- the Figleaves link didn't work properly- if you go to the home page and click on Bras you can then select Backless- they have laods.

StirlingTheStrong · 03/07/2009 22:03

I checked them out mrsM - they look good

micku5 - The wonderbra one looks good - shall find one tomorrow.

I would love to give it a go - never done backless before!

I got mine in Matalan and although I am a 34F I can usually get away with a 36DD in strapless bras.
