Hi, There is a sudden trend at DD's primary school for the girls to wear baggy school shorts with their polo shirts instead of the summer dresses. Where do you buy these, I haven't seen them anywhere?

I'd like to know where to get my dd culottes, whilst you're asking

I got some from Next for my dd2 - they aren't like culottes though. I also saw some city shorts (school shorts) in M&S the other day.

Lots of girls at DS's school wear shorts too but I think they usually wear boys ones. I have just been involved in sourcing a new uniform supplier for our school and they said that no-one seems to make girls uniform shorts.

Prob worth checking the school are OK with them first. They are banned at my school!

Next and M&S definitely have them.

my dd looks lovely in hers, but prefers to wear the gingham dress.

Thanks - I'll have a look at those sites now

I got the (grey) pleated ones for dd last year at next, they have been really good.. I see M&S are doing them, I think the next straight ones this year come in more colours - i.e not just black.
