Huge stomach - enters room before I do. Exercise doesn't make it go away. Anyone else and if so, how do you disguise it?

Always been really self-consious about my middle. Even before children, it stuck out. Had a C section like cut to remove a cyst in my early 20's and that was it - tellytubby guts since.

Any suggestions for clothes. I do know shift dresses disguise it quite well but I only don a frock for weddings and funerals. Casual the rest of the time. Size 14 below the waist. Size 16 on top.

Long dark t-shirts is the best I can offer you. And not having trousers too tight - just pushes it all up over your waistband.

Have had 2 c-sections and my poor stomach is fekked tbh .

How about a casual shift dress though?

I have this and wear with leggings or bare legs (if warm enough) and it is casual but very forgiving I.E does not hug, does not show lots of arm, you can wear strapless bra and this gives it extra sexiness if required

Hmm after posting on a thread recently about how to disguise my short fat dumpy self the general consensuS was topurchase some wide legged trousers to flatter.I got some nice linen ones from Next petite range and they have disguised the tum a bit.HTH.

I'd suggest slim fitting tunic tops similar to this.

I have this in navy and wear with white jeans (skinny)and because it skims its very flattering.

I'm actually pregnant at the moment but always prone to a tummy and also find quite wide low slung belts help to disguise it if worn on a skirt.

I definitely find though that close fitting/skimming clothes work better but you do need to do a lot of trying on.

Also invest in nice accessories - scarves/necklaces etc as they do pull the eye away from tummy area - lordy how 1950's do i sound!!

have you got big bosom? seems likely if you are 16 top / 14 bottom. i am same shape.

need to balance out and not look top heavy while showing plenty of leg. aline skirts above knee. empire line is flattering. tops low necked and long tight sleeves. thicker fabric also good. skinny / straight jeans but not too tight. slim cropped trousers.

i also find straight lines better than curves, so v neck rather than scoop, even slash neck can be good, esp when i am fatter. but i have curly hair so also need to take that into account, it can all get a bit rounded looking.

I've got a couple of tops like that jewels - I look like my mother in them (she's been dead for nearly 35 years, so you get the picture [blush)

Got a pair of wide legged pants - gut still sticks out.

Fishie - I think you might be me! Sept my hair is less curly and more wirey (think Susan Boyle).

Clur - The normal waist height ones send the flab over the top and the high waisted (come just under the bust) ones roll down!!!! I know - I have a range....all of them promised me great things and all of them let me down or at least, didn't keep me in!

I have horrendous tummy after CS. Never goes away even with strict diet. There is always a little sticky outy roll.

I hear this is quite common with CS. I try to be philisophical about it, but I do miss my old figure and this tummy doesn't even improve with sit-ups.

On the plus side, the increased tummy size means my bum is appears to be less large. Sorry this is probably not much help.

The best pants, IMHO, are 'full briefs', but not the control type; they just displace the roll elsewhere. Normal full briefs sort of contain and compact the area. I find this helps, not least because the main problem area is not poking out so visible.
