Joules sizing? Are they generous?

Sorry if this has been done before but search was not any help
Can anyone can tell me roughly if the sizing is generous or not. I can really be anywhere between an 8 and an 12 depending on the shop!
Thanks

I think it's just right on the tops and dresses. I haven't ever bought trousers or shorts from Joules so can't comment on those.

Only tried tops - about right (even slightly small) I'd say. I wear a 10 or 12 in tops, depending on where they're from. Joules would be a 12 for me.

I have a 12 dress which is very generous!
Haven't bought anything else, sorry.

Wheelybug · 22/06/2009 11:39

Hmm.. dresses I'd say are generous. Tops probably about right. Don't think I've bought anything else from them.

brokenspacebar · 22/06/2009 11:43

I agree re dresses being generous and definitely not for short people like me!

fishie · 22/06/2009 11:49

they are for pear shapes.

barbarapym · 22/06/2009 11:59

That's a blow. Have been feeling v smug about my size 10 dresses from Joules!....they are quite roomy though especially on top, although I am exceptionally flat chested

cazzybabs · 22/06/2009 12:08

on the waist for skirts- i think not ... but agree about the tops

RamblingRosa · 22/06/2009 15:02

I've got a Joules skirt and I'd say the size is normal. It sits on the waist if that's any help.
