How do I sort my cracked heels out?

They have never really recovered since my last pg, and as I am pg again, I can see lots of flat shoes in my future. Does anyone have any quick and easy ways to whip them into shape?

I can't stand paring skin off feet either, OP, so I can understand you not wanting to shave them! Eeek. (Doesn't the hard skin just grow back, anyway?)

My current heel treatment is to pumice them every evening and then slather in Burt's Bees Cocoanut Foot Cream. It's amazing the difference it makes in about 3 days, and smells lovely! (It doesn't look like pus, but a little like ear wax, but it's better than getting the razor out!)

Pedikur is really good I hear.

Burts Bees doesn't do anything for my feet . I so want to love it but just had no reaction after going through three tubes.

Pedikur is great, but expensive. I used to use it once a month and try to get by with foot file and tons of moisturiser in between. It's strangely satisfying scraping the manky greying sludge skin off.

I think the the Body Shop wooden foot file is one of the best value on the market.

I have heard of people using Lansinoh and aqueous cream before. The Avon stuff sounds good.

Scholl Cracked Heel cream is better than Flexitol I reckon. Flexitol as well as looking like pus also stinks (it contains lanolin and the sheepy smell is poorly masked by a horrid old lady perfume) and is greasy. Scholl contains the same active ingredient (urea) smells fine, has a nicer more quickly absorbed texture and it works quicker too.

Ive always found aloe vera works very well! (If you can get a plant you can squeeze it out fresh from the leaf and it is very soothing) Plus its very ethical (unlike mass produced chemicals) which goes down well with Send a Cow! x

I've used Flexitol too and found it to be really good -in fact I need to give them some attention at the moment.

My worst nightmare would be to go to a chiropodist...I can't stand anyone touching my feet let alon shaving them
