i've got one and i quite like it. i wasn't sure about the elasticated bottom around the thighs bit at first but i really wanted a dress with royal blue on it and that was the only one i could find so i got it.

I LOVE bubble dresses, but like mine a little longer, don't think the hem cutting across the thighs looks that flattering.

I wear mine above the knee, but I'm only 5'3" so wear them with wedges or a heel, or boots in winter.

I have a few the were ordinary, fairly full skirted dresses transformed into bubbles by threading thin elastic through the hem.

I ordered the pink ruffly one from Next - had no idea it had all the extra material. I look like a twat frankly.

It's not strictly a bubble - just has massive flap of extra material

in the model shot you can't see the extra material but in real life there's loads of it

I like the hems straight across, rather than the up and down hems like the ones linked from AllSaints.

they looked sh*te in the '80s and they haven't improved with time.
