What do you think of Hermes Scarves?

Pretentious, old fashioned, overpriced. Or classical, beautiful, fabulous.

I am in Scotland. House of Fraser sell them but I'm not sure what the range is like. I will be in London later in the summer so may well wait until the new collection is out.

I bought a vintage Bruno Magli (I think he is famous only for making OJ Simpson's shoes) one at a charity shop for a pound this week. It has 50s drawings of farm animals all over it. I was going to turn it into a cushion for DD's room but now I think I will wear it thus instead. I am actually sitting here sniggering at the thought of exactly how mad I would look wearing a Yasser Arafat scarf with farm animals on it to the shops.
