What colour accessories to wear with my fab new frock?

I bought this dress for a wedding, and these shoes.

But not sure what colour accessories to put with it. I'll wear a black pashmina if its chilly, but should I mix with pink, aqua or red bits and bobs?

Ideas please

I'd go for coloured shoes and accessories to match the shoes, personally. Pink or red both good with the dress (which is lovely btw)

But need the shoes pretty neutral so I can wear them in the future with my jeans.

yeah def need a smarter pair of shoes, like a little pump type thing. what's your hair like or going to be like? colour etc, that would be very important on how you should dress.accessorize this.

I'm tall, but quite wide with extremely fat ankles, so need a heel. I live in flaties so looking forward to wearing a heel for a change but nothing high as I'm rubbish in them ! Wedges are easy to go all day in which is why I chose them really, but I've obviously made the wrong choice - eek!

I have very short hair, dark brown. Paled skin.

i'd stick with black bead necklace, either fat short one, or longish smaller beads.

it's such a retro type dress, that I think your makeup should be all about the eyes too.

I wasn't going to wear anything around my neck as its a halter (I really know nothing about fashion and style!) but agree that the whole retro thing will look good.

sorry, i forgot it was halter!! I have something very similar here hung on back of wardrobe that I've yet to wear, but it's cut straight across!!

I thought of the bright adidas green, saw a lovely shrug in Monsoon in that colour and was tempted.

Will have to trawl the shops this week.

I got some lovely fuschia pink shoes in new look a couple of weeks ago, I will come back and link tomorrow. They have a heel but not too high which is why I like them, they are round toe patent leather Ithin k they would look great with that dress.

I agree, second shoes are much lovlier and go more with the style of the dress.
I would stick to black shoes...
