Pale skin with a blue undertone means you need to wear clear, bright colours with a blue undertone. For example, bright pinky red, royal blue, emerald green, jewel colours. nothing autumnal or orangey. Black can also look good.

What colour is your hair (naturally)?

If you have dark or very light hair you should go for the bright colours, if your hair is light brown or mousey go for softer, muted colours.

You may even be able to pull of red (but as 3littlefrogs said, has to have a blue undertone).

Think of a blue grey as opposed to a yellow toned grey, for example. A blue/green rather than a yellow green, a pinky red rather than an orange red. It is difficult to describe in words. Where do you live?

The turquoise/pink/black multi pattern stuff looks fairly safe.

i ahve had my colours done and i am warm autumn; so usually wear browns, creams, pinky oranges.

I am really surprised that you are a warm autumn if your skin has a blue undertone TBH. (I am trained in colour analysis BTW). It doesn't sound right. Autumn means you suit warm, yellow undertoned colours and make up, so the same should apply to swimwear.

Springs and Autumns have a yellow or gold undertone to their skin, not blue.

my face isn't particularly white/blue but the rest of me sees so little sun and i don't tan well either, i just go red then white again.

Sorry - had to go and cook dinner (tsk). Yes that looks nice - those are what I would call spring colours - warm but bright. Its really difficult though - describing colours and skin tone in words on-line!

I would steer well clear of any strong, bright colours. Soft muted colours would suit you much better.

If you are very white, buy a glamorous one-piece - there is no point "showing off" a very white tummy, it will be much more enhanced by a beautiful, structured costume. You want people to look at the costume rather than your skin and you want a bold colour, either a single block or blocks of 2/3 colours.
