help ! 1969 themed outfit maybe HIPPIE FLOWER POWER.. IDEAS PLEASE

ok, i need to try to cobble together an outfit from this era. i have wild long curly hair so am thinking the hippie look would be easier to cultivate than a sleeker look, IYSWIM.

anyway, i'm on a tight budget so am keen not to have to buy too many items...

i have flares already. am thinking maybe cheesecloth shirt. but what about footwear...bare feet?? or could i get away with brown foot bed sandals with thong bit that goes between your toe?? and what about hair? would a head band going across forehead be the right look?

Flares and cheesecloth shirt sound right. Don't see why you shouldn't go for either the sandals you described or barefeet. Thin plaited head band across forehead would also be fab (try Top Shop). Try painting a daisy-like flower on your cheek using eyeliner as outline and fill in with blue eyeshadow and go for either rest of face bare (if you can stand it) or very simple, natural make up. Love beads (long strands of small beads) are a must too
