I always seem to get it in my eyes at some point and it bloody stings!

Liz earls face one didn't make me spotty/shiny last year and the body one never bought me out in heat rash on my body. Not sure if it was as high as spf 40 though.

I also like cliniques super city block spf 40, its slightly tinted but also is a great base for makeup.

I have a sample of Liz Earle spf 25 and it is very white..

Will have a look at Clinique, thanks

Avène Spray - I use factor 20 when in the shade and factor 40 when in the sun. Brilliant for everything (faces, children etc).

another vote for clinique superblock - in my case 25 - wear it daily and think it's fab

There is a tinted avene one that I bought abroad which was amazing if you could find it here Factor 25 and really glowy.Atm I have some avon spf 25 clled anew it is amazing no whiteness at all and very dewy

I wear the new Loreal Sublime facial one, factor 50. It is quite thick and white, but absorbs and blends in within 5 mins, not sticky, doesn't smell funny and doesn't sting eyes.
Just make sure you give it 5 mins or so before applying make-up, or it slides off!

Has anyone tried this one..

Simple Sun Face Protector Hydrolotion SPF 40

?

Its not too expensive, I can't seem to find the Loreal one and the Clinique one is quite expensive..

I wonder if the Clinique counter would give me a sample?

I dont think clinique do samples,i normally get it & something else when they have the bonus time,so that way you get some nice freebies too.

macherie · 26/05/2009 20:22

Another fan of clinique city block spf 40

Boots No 7 anti-aging, anti-dark spot facial sun protection factor 50. Fantastic under make up - I also use it on cleavage area when wearing low necks.
