at those prices i'd have to wear them from my cardboard box.

nice dresses though.

cornsilk · 25/05/2009 20:21

Very nice - but why is everything strapless this year?

nevergoogledragonbutter · 25/05/2009 20:24

true, i need straps too.

tassisssss · 25/05/2009 20:25

if I were pregnant all summer long I'd be wearing some of the lovely dresses in the blooming marvellous catalogue that landed on my mat last week and almost persuaded me then and there to have a 4th!!

LetThemEatCake · 25/05/2009 20:25

well yes - perhaps I should have said "then I would like to be wearing"

cornsilk - not everything

blooming marvellous? really? i have never liked anything from there last 2 pregnancies, didn't even bother looking this time!! what did you spot?

Thank goodness for straps! I need some leverage for my norks.

LetThemEatCake · 25/05/2009 20:34

half your luck, I am a nork-free zone, even when pregnant.

Love love love the second one.

cornsilk · 25/05/2009 20:46

LetThemEatCake - it's not that I am particularly well endowed. It's more that since having my ds's my norks have the consistency of blancmange and are very unlikely to hold up a dress without help.

LetThemEatCake · 25/05/2009 20:51

LOL!!!

I must give a big shout out for my new strapless dress however - not a maternity one but PERFECT nonetheless, even on my burgeoning bump

not colourful like the TIBI one but easy easy easy to dress up/ down as a result

That is very nice. I love mywardrobe.com - haven't bought anything yet but like a good browse!

MamaHobgoblin · 25/05/2009 20:53

tassisssss - I just had a look at Blooming Marvellous dresses and you're right - there are some lovely things there! I really fancy the Pixel Posy dress. (do you think it'll be obvious that I'm not pregnant if I wear it anyway? )

LetThemEatCake · 25/05/2009 21:20

I just checked out BM too. They're really pretty, but not me, sadly.

MamaH, glad you agree! I wondered if I should buy some bits just in case I get pregnant again!! Typical, I've spent 2 of the past 3 summers being pregnant and bought nothing from BM. And they're really reasonable.
