help!!

i dont know what to wear this summer.

am thinking capri pants and floaty-ish top might be ok and hide a multitude of sins.

am still breastfeeding dd4 so need ease of access to bra at all times.

am not a dress person.

i wear sandles, birkies and crocs

Capri pants probably not a good idea as will shorten your legs - better to go for full lengthy in a cool fabric with wedge heeled sandals to give you a little extra height.

Summer especially if hot is a nightmare for bf though - am due at end of july and trying to work out what to wear afterwards as know vest type tops will be way too clingy to post-baby tummy.

Would agree with traceybath. Better to go for loose linen trousers with floaty tops

There are still quite a lot of smock type tops in the shops at the mo - that's what I wore - cool and you can stick the baby underneath rather than getting your nork and tummy out

next had got some nice bias type cut longish linen skirts - their website seems to be broken or i'd link to them. These could look nice with loosish fitting tops.

H&M had some decent stuff at reasonable prices when i popped in last week.

I'm 5'2 and size 18 on top 16/18 on bottom and I always wear cropped/capri pants in summer. I think it is ok once they are not tapered in at the calf IYKWIM. I don't think loose linen style are always suitable if you want to be casual in the summer, specially running around after kids, at the beach etc

My favourite ones were brown cropped combats from Simply Be

not sure I would do the camouflage colour but this style.

I'm not sure about floaty or smock like tops. I think they might make you look pregnant still. I was a size 20 and found fitted, but not tight tops, better.

I agree llareggub A fitted style in the right size is often more flattering than something too voluminous.

I avoid anything too 'maternity looking' when not pregnant. I can do without the speculation!
