I'm looking for skirts and/or shorts, a dress and a pack of smock t shirts, a sunhat and some canvas shoes for my DD for summer. I want everything to have short sleeves rather than sleeveless and not too tiht fitting. I've tried Next, M and S, Gap, Debenhams, Boots and Jo jo bebe. Oh and Boden but unless someone ha at least 30% off I can't afford it Have I missed anywhere? She is two and a half. TIA.

how about supermarket ranges?im not ever allowed to look so no idea what theyre like!

used2bthin · 24/05/2009 14:18

Oh had forgotten pumpkin patch and H and M, thanks. We don't have either but I may be able to visit my cousin and go to the shops there. Tried Gap they had nothing in in DDs size, I WISH they did online! Ah Asda yes they do lovely bright stuff and iirc aren't too tight fitting. Thanks will have a look there, again we don't have one near by but I think they do online.

I'll have a rummage through DDs stuff, she has grown out of loads.. will let you know if i have anything .

used2bthin · 24/05/2009 14:21

Oh thanks Lulumama thats kind of you, I would be more than happy to buy from you if you have anything we need. I think you have a curly haired DD too? I still haven't cut DDs hair!

OP posts:
Lulumama · 24/05/2009 14:25

oh don;t worry about that.. will have a look tomorrow, got friends coming in a bit so won;t have time.. what size feet is she?

yes, had a wildly curly haired DD, she has now got almost straight hair it is straight until the last 3 -4 inches, when it curls madly still, but i she has lost the all over curliness. she has had two trims of her hair and she is nearly 4 !

used2bthin · 24/05/2009 14:29

Oh my goodness it doesn't seem long since we were both on a curly hair thread! It was probably a year ago though at least. I hope my DD's stays wild and curly. Probably won't though as mine didn't, now it just has an annoying kink to it. Thanks for looking that would be lovely, DD is a size 6 and a half or 7.

Vertbaudet for good packs of tshirts, cropped jeans, trousers, shorts etc

used2bthin · 24/05/2009 14:34

Thanks Lulumama Heated had forgotten vertebaudet thank you and will look at pumpkin patch although not sure of sizing there as don't think DD has ever had anything from them. Usually like mini mode too but just looked and couldn't see what I was after.

bhs
next
M&Co

Bucharest · 24/05/2009 15:05

Pumpkin Patch do very sensible sizing IMO- ie not by years, but by height- they have charts in their shops....dd (who is almost 6) has been a PP 4 for yeeeeeears.

I've just bought some Boden trousers from ebay....

I think the Boden spend £30 and get £10 off code might still be working? It was on Thursday.

kando · 24/05/2009 15:07

Tescos have got some really fab little outfits in at the mo for up to age 6-7 I think - smock type t-shirts with little leggins, really cute little playsuits (I remember I used to have terry towling ones like these!!) and little skirts too, and canvas shoes too - really reasonable prices.

used2bthin · 24/05/2009 15:12

Thanks have tried Next but will check out bhs and m and co when I am next near one, my aunthas got DD some cute stuff at bhs, its not somewhere I'd think to look. Nowhere here does Tesco clothes, its bad bad bad for shopping here! I will look next time I am in an area that does though, smock t shirts to wear with leggings sound good. I want to look now!
ando I will check but the offer they sent me was spend £70 and get £10 back. Which didn't seem great! £30 much better.
