I have just sold my 3yo GHDs on ebay (£53!!) and fuckwittedly recklessly thought I would be able to make do with some cheapo Tresemme ones.

I can't

Have been recommended Corioliss ones as being almost as good as GHD but fraction of price (esp if on Ebay) am rather skint despite the above, need to make money to pay bills but I find looking like Worzel Gummidge scares my childmindees somewhat

Give me the good, the bad and the ugly on Corioliss please

i had corrioliss for about four years. they are good, but not cheap. i bough tmine, pink ones, five years ago, for seventy pounds ..
what sort of hair do you have? if its fine, and not much of it, then you will be okie. i have thick, asian hair, and lots and lot s and lots of it. with my corioliss it would take me 45 inutes to do a crap job, 55 minutes to do an acceptable job. with my new, fat ghd's it takes twenty minutes to do a brilliant job of straightening

I wouldn't call them good for that amount of time I have reasonably thick hair, and a lot of it.

lol, i once used my friends 24 ound ones. took an hour to do a much much crapper job than the corrioliss did. its allr elative. she has fine hair, and not much of it. the cheap ones did hers perfectly in about five minutes.
