Need fabulous shoe inspiration, but what colour !?

Hi ladies,

Some of you were very kind about this dress a few weeks ago and helped me convince myself to buy it. But after scouring every website I can think of for the perfect pair of shoes to go with it, I've drawn a blank.

I thought initially I would go for something bright as the dress is quite dark and its for a summer wedding. Bright fuschia, tourquoise or yellow? Or should I just play it safe (and a bit more classy ) and go for gold/neutral?

Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

Ooh, I'd go for silver - if you like the idea let me know budget, heel height and how much flesh you're happy to show, and I'll go a-searching.

Ahh thank you, silver could go well.

Heel height, high (am a short arse ) but no more than 4 inches. I'm not a big fan of very strappy sandals or platforms.

Budget, I was expecting to spend up to 200 quid but if they were fabulous I could stretch it.

I'd go for a nude colour-very on trend & would compliment that dress beautifully. I saw a beautiful Kurt Geiger pair but no time to find & do link-sorry.

The dress is so beautiful that I'd keep the shoes neutral in colour so as not to distract the eye from the dress. I'd probably go for something like this.

I agree with you both that its prob best to stick to neutral as the dress is actually a really funny shade of navy so maybe brights wouldn't be so good a match after all.

Namechange thanks for looking. The style I liked most from shopstyle were these but wouldn't mind paying about half the price Also not sure if I like the platform bit.
