Wondering if you can help me (well my mum actually) find the perfect shoes for this dress Karen Millen do a pair that match but the style is not right. I have found these but not sure they are the right colour. LK Bennett has a couple of nice pairs in pink and purple but again not sure they are a good colour match. Any ideas please shoe experts?

This pair look like they could be a good match for the pink in the dress. If your Mum wants an exact match she may have to take the dress to the shops so she can compare the colours as it's so difficult to see the true colour of something on the web.

Has she thought about buying a nude coloured pair of shoes? If the shoe is a good match for skin tone then they make your legs look longer.

I found this pair and these (Click beige). The lattice work in the shoe is a little nod to the dress plus the shoes could be worn with anything else in her wardrobe whereas she'd be limited with a puple or pink pair.

Jeepers how old is your mum? She must have a fab figure

Fimbo · 14/05/2009 14:01

Has she tried it with the sandals on the same page as the dress?

Thanks Amandoh, The pinky ones are nice. I'll send her the link. I don't think she would go for nude though.

Fimbo- she is 48, and is gorgeous with a fab figure (jealous me? nooo) The problem with the shoes on the page with the dress is that as she is fairly short the dress is below kneee length and the ankle strap on that shoe makes her legs look very short! these are the back up pair which she likes expect for the jewels on the heel (hard to please, my mum noooo)
